The Karmayogi Saarthi Program, led by the Piramal School of Leadership (PSL) in partnership with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), is a flagship initiative under Mission Karmayogi—India’s national program for civil services capacity building. The program aims to strengthen the implementation of capacity-building initiatives by selecting, training, and deploying young professionals—called Karmayogi Saarthis—across 93 central government ministries and departments, impacting approximately 3 million civil servants.
The program engages young professionals in meaningful public service, allowing them to contribute directly to governance reform and nation-building efforts.
By embedding Saarthis within government systems, the initiative creates a pipeline of skilled, mission-aligned talent for long-term transformation in public-sector human resource management.
